WHAT KIND OF TRAINING DO THE COACHES HAVE?
All Academy coaches are certified L200 USA Rugby and L100 World Rugby coaches, United States Olympic Committee Safe Sport certified, CPR/AED certified, and Heads Up youth sports concussion certification. With this FWRA require all personnell to have completed state and federal fingerprint background checks, crisis intervention training and Texas Mandatory Reporting training.
HOW MANY PLAYERS ARE ON THE TEAM ROSTER?
Fort Worth Rugby Academy facilitates a Rugby 7's squads consisting of 15 players on each squad. FWRA has no cap on number of athletes apart of programs, meaning no athlete will ever be turned away. Though our governing body, USA Rugby and Rugby Texas have strict guidelines on the number of dressed players allowed per game.
What is the cost?
Academy student athletes and their families pay absolutley ZERO dollars to play and compete with FWRA. All registration fees with USA Rugby, equipment, tournament fees and more are covered by Fort Worth Rugby Academy.

WHEN AND WHERE WILL ACADEMY ATHLETES PRACTICE
Fort Worth Rugby Academy will practice 5 days a week while in season at their respected Fort Worth ISD School.
